“We need to figure out a better way to just engage people,” shares Matt Maher in this Spotlight film. There are many in the culture who either do not go to Church at all or are “cultural Catholics,” identifying with the faith on some level but not embracing it personally. There is also increasing polarization in the culture. Matt believes “the worst thing we can do is to demonize” people who disagree with us instead of seeing them “as people who inherently have dignity.” Being a Christian should impact every aspect of our lives and behavior, including online. Matt concludes, “Christ should be able to be so magnified in His charity and in His love for sinners in the things I say.”
