“Before you say, ‘How can I convert my neighbor?’ it’s just simply ‘How do I love my neighbor?’” Matt Maher reflects in this Spotlight film. “I think we need to lead people to Jesus first, and Jesus will lead them to the Truth.” Oftentimes we can objectify those we are trying to convert, or we can turn Christianity into a philosophy attempting to win arguments or correct immoral behavior. Matt recalls, “What led me to wanting to change my character was the knowledge of the love of God.”  Evangelizing today begins with witness and encounter, in realizing that “I need to be more loving.”
