When Kurt and Margie Kondrich welcomed their beautiful daughter Chloe into the world, their lives changed forever. Chloe was born with Down syndrome and soon after, the family realized how this was perceived as a negative, when in reality it was the greatest gift they had ever been given. They decided to take action and change the perception of children with Down syndrome. In 2014, they helped pass “Chloe’s Law” in the state of Pennsylvania, which stated that when a parent gets the prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome, they are properly informed about the child’s abilities rather than disabilities.  Kurt, Margie, and Chloe were invited to the United Nations and got to meet President Trump and Vice President Pence. Today, Kurt and Margie continue to fight for the life and dignity of children with Down syndrome.
