Occupational therapist and founder of Imprint Hope, Clare Byrne felt deeply called to serve those with disabilities in Uganda. She was inspired by her sister Kate to become an occupational therapist, a role she saw that could make a difference in the life of a child with a disability. After volunteering in Uganda for 1 year, Clare then began her nonprofit- Imprint Hope in 2016, which provides vital resources for children and their families, raises awareness and breaks down the barriers that children with disabilities face in Uganda. They also offer trainings and education to families so that they may understand and love their child.
