St. James the Apostle
Three of the apostles were privy to some of the more extraordinary events of Jesus’ life. St. James witnessed the height of Christ’s glory during the Transfiguration and the depth of His misery on the night of Holy Thursday in the Garden of Gethsemane. Following Pentecost, James went as far as Rome and became the first Apostle to be martyred. Here in this video, you’ll learn about the life and martyrdom of St. James including why he is often referred to as “James the Greater.”
