St. Francis Xavier Cabrini

Who is the first American citizen to be canonized?  That honor belongs to an Italian immigrant named Frances Xavier Cabrini.  Unable to join religious life at a young age due to poor health, she left Italy for the United States to found her own order and to live a life totally dedicated to the poor.  Here in this video, you’ll learn about the life, work, and accomplishments of the first American saint.
