On the morning of December 9, 1531, a 55 year old convert to Christianity passed by a hill that once held a temple to the Aztec mother god.  That same morning he encountered the Mother of God who appeared to him requesting a temple be built dedicated to the true God.  Our Lady of Guadalupe, as she came to be known, is responsible for the conversion of over 8 million people to Christianity as devotion to her spread over the years.  Here in this video, you’ll learn about the history and influence of Our Lady as she appeared to St. Juan Diego in 1531.
