“The eyes of the world see no farther than this life, but the eyes of the Christian see deep into  eternity.” St. John Vianney touches upon the importance of seeing things in their proper  dimension, seeing them as they are, seeing them with a divine perspective. Here in this video,  we are reminded of the need for the virtue of hope, that firm anchor of the soul by which we  desire to obtain all that Christ promises. No matter the storms that may come, if we build our lives  upon the rock that is Christ, nothing can shake us. And nothing can separate us from His love. In  sum, we must constantly keep our eyes on the prize - eternal life.
